I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you really enjoyed the episode, then just ignore what I'm saying because it's important for you just enjoy the cartoon and not pay attention to negative reviews and harsh opinions. I wish I could do the same but I guess I just have a hard time doing that. I also just want to let people enjoy it and not criticize it. I kind of feel bad saying all this because I love Adventure Time and I kind of thought that it was impossible for something like this to happen. The animation was so far gone that it literally isn't the Adventure Time art style anymore. Wizard city was just so incredibly different in every way. The first three episodes of Distant Lands were really good, but they were also different because, again, that's what happens. Big note: Peppermint Butler and the rest of the candy people were a race created by the first Princess Bubblegum. But, it will be something to think about. When that happens this story may or may not be relevant. My fave was The Lich King (partially so because I can mimic his voice) and my friends choose Nepter and Billy. Before I start the story, I want to say its been confirmed Peppermint Butlers past will be revealed at some point in the show. I understand that when it comes to cartoons, change is normal, and over time a cartoon will change. Who is Peppermint Butler, really A couple friend of mine and myself just started a spontaneous conversation about our favorite characters in adventure time. When he cuts out the spirit of original peppermint butler he says something like ' I still wanna be an evil powerful jerk, just not that jerk.' So I assume he still studied dark magic just not he same way as his original self. It was just so far gone from the original Adventure Times series. ago It's the new peppermint from wizard city just grown up.
